Ripple Effect Selected to Inc. 5000 Series List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the D.C. Metro Region!

Ripple Effect Ranks No. 138 on the inaugural 2020 Inc. 5000 Series: D.C. Metro with Two-Year Revenue Growth of 86%.

 

Rockville, MD; February 27, 2020Inc. magazine today revealed that Ripple Effect is #138 on its inaugural Inc. 5000 Series: D.C. Metro list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the DC Metro economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.

The companies on this list show impressive rates of growth across all industries in the DC metropolitan area. between 2016 and 2018, these 250 private companies had an average growth rate of 196 percent and, in 2018 alone, they employed over 88,000 people and added $6.5 billion in revenue to the greater DC area’s economy. Companies based in the Washington DC, Baltimore, and Richmond, VA metro areas brought in the highest revenue overall.

The 2020 Inc. 5000 Regional Series is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2018. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016.
