The company ranks #2160 overall with three-year growth of 186%

Ripple Effect joined elite company this week after it was named, for the third year in a row, to Inc. magazine’s annual rankings of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Ripple Effect claimed the 2160th spot overall in the 2019 Inc. 5000 list, building on its #467 ranking last year and #595 in 2017.

“I’m so proud of our company and our people,” said Ripple Effect CEO Amy Bielski, “Making this list annually is hard to sustain, as year-over-year growth percentages naturally taper off.” According to the publication, of the tens of thousands of companies that apply to the Inc. 5000 list, only a fraction have made the list more than once, and just one in eight companies have made the list three times.

A Rockville-based, woman-owned small business, Ripple Effect has more than 165 active employees and has grown nearly 200% from 2015 to 2019. Working primarily with federal agencies across communications and outreach, program management and policy, and research and evaluation capabilities, Ripple Effect has carved a niche for itself in the government contracting space, building focused subject matter expertise on health care and science research policies and procedures.

“This is truly a team recognition. We wouldn’t be here without bright, flexible people who are dedicated to making our clients successful, no matter the challenges,” Bielski continued. “We are all about working smarter and performing better, and the growth in both our client portfolio and revenue are proof points for our investments in our culture and in the people who make us who we are.”

The company has prioritized building a work culture that attracts top talent in both the Washington D.C. Metro Area and across the United States, through a flexible hiring model that values remote and part-time workers.

Ripple Effect has recruited a diverse team of doctors, evaluation research scientists, communications specialists, and PhD scientists that combine interdisciplinary backgrounds to solve complex and constantly evolving client challenges.

The company embraces modern workplace trends in their Rockville office, which includes hot desking and room reservation software, sit-to-stand and treadmill desks, soundproof TalkBox pods, a quiet room for mindfulness activities, and an open floor plan that promotes collaboration.

The focus on culture and environment extends into the future, as Ripple Effect prepares for continued growth

“We’ve been recognized for our incredible success and growth over these past few years, and we are in great position to continue that,” Bielski said. “By remaining focused on recruiting top talent, evolving our technical solutions, and expanding our portfolio, we will be a top employer for our people, and a trusted partner to our clients as they grow as well.”
