ROCKVILLE, MD; April 3, 2020 Ripple Effect® is excited to announce that it is one of three awardees on the new NIEHS STARS contract, providing science writing, content development, and special project support to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Division of Extramural Research and Training (DERT).

Through this contract, Ripple Effect is positioned to support DERT staff by providing technical and logistical services; contributing to ongoing efforts in analysis, evaluation, and assessment of DERT research programs and portfolio areas; and assisting with translating, communicating, and disseminating DERT environmental health programs, activities, and accomplishments.

This five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract valued at a total of $9 million will support NIEHS’ mission to discover how the environment affects human health in order to promote healthier lives. The STARS contract was competitively awarded as a small business set-aside. This project has been funded in whole or in part with Federal funds from the NIEHS, NIH, Department of Health and Human Services, under Contract No. 75N96020D00009.

“Ripple Effect is proud of the services and support we have provided to NIH over the years,” said Jennifer Pohlhaus, Ripple Effect Chief Operations Officer. “We are thrilled to extend that same level of service and support to NIEHS and make a meaningful impact on the health, safety, and prosperity of the nation.”
