Company ranks #595 overall and #10 in Maryland with three-year growth of 760%
August, 16, 2017 (Rockville, MD) – Inc. magazine released its annual ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies last week. For the first time since the company’s founding in 2003, Ripple Effect Communications, Inc. was named to the Inc. 5000 list at the number 595 spot overall and number 10 in Maryland.
“This award is a true testament to the hard work our staff puts in every day to provide intelligent project management to our clients,” said Ripple Effect CEO, Amy Bielski. “It also underscores the great partnerships we have with organizations in the health care and scientific research space and the relationships we’ve built within the Rockville business community.”
Ripple Effect, a Rockville-based, woman-owned small business, has grown over 760% from 2013 to 2016. Today, the company has more than 122 active employees. Working primarily with federal agencies across communications and outreach, program management and policy, and research and evaluation, the company has differentiated itself in the government contracting space by building specific subject matter expertise on health care and science research policies and procedures.

Methodology:
The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. Companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2016. The minimum revenue required for 2013 is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million.
