The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), with a growing need for measuring and tracking impact, required a shift in how support was delivered across the organization. Previously reliant on externally directed task assignments, CDMRP sought a more agile, internally managed structure to meet its growing and evolving program evaluation and analysis needs.
Our Goal
Create a smarter, specialized hybrid staffing and consulting solution for CDMRP that prioritizes team expertise, improves efficiency, and adds operational value across programs.
Our Path to Success
Ripple Effect designed and implemented a highly matrixed, SME-led team that emphasized standardized processes and efficient work distribution. To facilitate this, we created a task support request system that allowed for the management, tracking, and alignment of tasks across all 35 research programs. All team members were cross-trained, enabling seamless collaboration and high-performance execution. This new approach replaced rigid assignments with expertise-driven alignment, improving quality and transparency in deliverables and operations.
