Here, we’re authentic and real with one another. We ask lots of questions and challenge each other’s logic, whether that’s in the office or at a local trivia event. We’re all about recognition here: expressing gratitude for jobs well done, shouting out Ripplers on social media, and rewarding exceptional performance. Benefits
& Total Rewards
We believe that a fulfilling work experience is much more than the salary you earn—it’s a combination of preferences and perks that work for you and your lifestyle. That’s why we offer a tailored total rewards package, from adjustable work statuses to personalized benefit structures and financial compensation options: to give you choice and flexibility.
Diversity, Equity,
Inclusion & Accessibility
At Ripple Effect, no one has a monopoly on ideas. To serve our clients best and help them perform better, we need to understand their challenges, their hang-ups, and their perspectives. To do that, we need people with diverse ideas, skills, and backgrounds, and we’ve built our company on the value of embracing unique voices and experiences and creating a sense of belonging. When people are valued for their strengths and treated with respect, and when they feel comfortable, confident in their selves, and appreciated, we all perform better. That’s good for us, good for our people, and good for our clients.
Military Community
Former military service members, spouses, and families are some of the hardest working, adaptable, dedicated, and dependable people in the job market. Ripple Effect is a home for military service members and families, and that’s why we’ve partnered with Hiring Our Heroes and the Military Spouse Fellowship Program (MSFP)—to find talented people with the desire to serve that aligns with our desire to work smarter, perform better, and make our clients successful, no matter the challenge. If you’re looking for your next step, we encourage you to reach out and meet us.
Hiring Our Heroes
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) initiative launched in March 2011 as a nationwide effort to connect veterans, service members, and military spouses with meaningful employment opportunities. Working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s vast network of state and local chambers and strategic partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, our goal is to create a movement across America in hundreds of communities where veterans and military families return every day.
Military Spouse Fellowship Program
The Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Fellowship Program (MSFP) provides military spouses with professional training, networking, and hands-on experience in the civilian workforce. The professional development and direct connection to local employers offered through the program enable military spouses to quickly build their networks and gain localized job experience. Participating host companies gain access to a highly skilled and educated talent pool. Visit the MSFP webpageto learn more.
Military Skills Translator
Service members have a wealth of valuable knowledge and skills that they’ve acquired, but sometimes it can be hard to translate those skills to the civilian workforce. Check out the Military Skills Translator from Military.com—it matches a veteran’s military occupation code (MOS, AFSC, and Rating), sub-specialties and other professional military skills to civilian job opportunities.
Disability
& Accommodations
People with disabilities are a vastly under-employed and untapped resource of talent and adaptability. At Ripple Effect, our work culture welcomes and supports those with disabilities, from our accessible, universal design office space to flexible work arrangements and awareness campaigns to eliminate stigmas.
Flexible Work
Environment
Lots of companies say that they offer flexible work, at Ripple Effect, we really mean it!
We hire individuals to work in a variety of capacities – from full-time to part-time to on-call -and we provide maximum flexibility for work hours so employees can work when they’re most productive – during the day and during the month. We have some staff that work at a reduced schedule of 75-80% time, many that work outside of a traditional 9 to 5 schedule, and still others taking advantage of our remote work options.
How do we work at Ripple Effect?
We lean-in to async and save synchronous work for when it is needed. Async is short for asynchronous and is a working style in which the entire team rarely gets together for big agreements and discussions. Each individual team member generally works on their own and at their own pace, with collaboration and agreement being handled by asynchronous mechanisms such as email and shared online documents.
The pandemic forced many companies to move to asynchronous work overnight – not because it was their preference, but out of necessity. At Ripple Effect, we have always understood that some work is done best synchronously and some asynchronously.
What is our policy on telework?
Most of our roles are for mobile workers, which means that you may work remotely either completely or partially. A small number of our roles are for site workers, who are eligible for telework only on an ad-hoc basis. At Ripple, we make sure that each job posting clearly indicates the work location for the role.
What if the work location is listed as Remote?
Then the mobile employee has no obligation to report to a particular work location – you only need to reside in a state where Ripple Effect is authorized to do business (HR can provide a list).
What if the work location is not listed as Remote?
Then the employee is expected to report to the work location defined in the job posting (and referenced in the offer letter) on at least a part-time basis. Ask your recruiter if you are unsure of the typical in-person expectation for a specific role.
Who qualifies to apply based on location?
Even if the job is not posted as a Remote work location, we may still be able to fill the role with someone who lives outside of the location listed. Remote employees who are filling a role that is not classified as remote will have a telework agreement once they onboard that defines the minimal in-person requirements for their role.
What can you expect?
First, applications are reviewed by our Recruiting Team and the Hiring Manager for the position. Applicants who meet all the basic requirements will be invited for a phone screen.
Top candidates are advanced to the next stages where they are assessed on knowledge and skills relevant to the position and interview with future team members.
Each of these stages of the process are factored in when determining which candidate is offered the position.
What if you have questions during the vetting process?
Once our team has emailed you about the role, the preferred way for you to reach us is to respond to any email you’ve received on the role. Since we have an applicant tracking system, any time you respond to an email for that role (check the subject line), the email will save in your profile for that position.
Our team can also be reached at Careers@RippleEffect.com if you have questions that are not specific to the role.
Hiring Process
At Ripple Effect, we strive to provide a great candidate experience for everyone, so our approach relies on clear and frequent communication to keep candidates in the loop.
Our Assessment Philosophy
For most roles, we invite candidates to perform a work-related assessment as part of the vetting process, which gives us valuable information about how you would perform in the role.
