Ensuring Community
Engagement in Research
and Public Health Impact
A major federal health agency needed strategic, administrative and logistical support producing and promoting its monthly public health newsletter. The publication plays a key role in sharing timely updates, amplifying grantee work, and strengthening connections between researchers, community organizations, and policymakers. The client sought a partner who could take over the content planning, writing, and formatting process as well as implementing strategies to promote and enhance reach, while reducing internal workload, increasing editorial consistency and diversifying content selection and readership.
Our Goal
Deliver a consistent, high-quality monthly newsletter that promotes awareness of environmental public health research and community partnerships, while streamlining internal workflows for long-term sustainability.
Our Path to Success
Ripple Effect supported end-to-end lifecycle of newsletter production, from identifying article topics and conducting interviews, to writing content and preparing web-ready formats. We proactively planned each issue in advance, collaborated with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, and created a feature article and supplemental content for every edition. We also developed a living content repository and other trackers to serve as an additional resource and reduce future approval bottlenecks.
